Edgar Lee Masters Memorial Museum is thrilled to announce the upcoming Party with the Poet Fundraiser Dinner & Auction, set to take place on April 6th at the picturesque Indian Creek Farmstead. This fun-filled evening will commence at 6:00 PM, featuring a special guest speaker, dinner, auction and cash bar.
Guests will be transported into a realm of creativity and inspiration as they indulge in a sumptuous dinner crafted by Hamilton’s Catering and Red Barn Desserts. Amidst the rustic charm of Indian Creek Farmstead, attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow Edgar Lee Masters and Menard County history enthusiasts, fostering connections and camaraderie.
The highlight of the evening will be our special guest speaker, Catherine Masters, Edgar Lee’s granddaughter, presenting Passages: a reflection on the Masters’ family legacy.
Additionally, guests will have the chance to bid on exclusive items and experiences in our live auction, or peruse our silent auction offerings for unique treasures.
The Party with the Poet Fundraiser Dinner & Auction serves as a vital fundraiser for Edgar Lee Masters Memorial Museum. Funds raised from this event will directly support the sustainable care of the Edgar Lee Masters’ home and continued support of Illinois arts and artisans.
